How to play

Cascade is a simple strategy game in which your goal is to gather as many pebbles as possible.
You may remove groups of two or more touching pebbles of the same colour by clicking on one of them.
Groups of pebbles must touch horizontally or vertically. Diagonal pebbles are not counted unless other horizontal or vertical pebbles join them.
When you remove pebbles the remaining pebbles cascade down and to the left into the gaps.
If you remove all the pebbles then the board is refilled.
If you click on a gap then the game restarts.

Each extra pebble in a group scores more points. The first pebble scores one point, the second two, and so on. The scores are then added up so that if a group contained 36 pebbles then you would score 666 points.
If you clear the board then you score a bonus of 500 points.
The score is displayed in the status line of your browser.
